Description:
Learning about and utilizing best practices as an individual professional and convincing other staff to value and utilize your expertise and knowledge to enhance quality patient care are two different things and require different skill sets. She will discuss how to utilize motivational techniques so that expertise can be effectively shared and best practices implemented in the clinical setting.
Objectives:
Understand the concept of Team Intelligence as it grounds collaborative communication.
Understand what language and behaviors can torpedo attempts to promote the dissemination and implementation of best practices in the workplace.
Understand what concrete, practical and simple to apply tools can be used to promote best practices through collaborative communication.
